The Tilo Fund Issues Our First Grant
The Tilo Fund is happy to announce our first grant.
Calidad de Vida is a women-led local organization in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, that serves survivors of trafficking, forced displacement, domestic violence and sexual abuse. Their shelters provide comprehensive care to women and their children through a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, lawyers, and therapists. Beyond its shelters, Calidad de Vida provides women with training and tools to prevent violence in their communities, and advocates for the prevention of violence against women in Honduras.
The Tilo Fund is supporting shelter supplies and maintenance, transportation, medicine, and staffing costs. We are proud to partner with Calidad de Vida as they help women survive and rebuild their lives in the face of declining international funding and the intense and persistent violence driving so many women to seek their help.
